
Board of DirectorsLora Tredway, Co-Chairperson and TreasurerLora Tredway is an attorney who practiced for 10 years in the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice, enforcing the federal Voting Rights Act. She has been an at-home parent since 1993. Lora served on the NPC Board of Trustees for five years, holding the offices of Treasurer, Secretary, and Assistant Treasurer. Her other experience at NPC includes Officers’ Nominating Committee, Nurture Council, Children’s Council, and teaching in children’s and youth ministry. Lora has served as President of the Board of Trustees of the National Presbyterian School and Chair of the Search Committee for the new Head of School, Jim Neill, who is beginning his second year at the School. Lora and her husband, John Gregg, an NPC Elder, reside in Bethesda and have one son. Eric Young, Co-ChairpersonEric Young is the Director of Human Resources for Accenture’s U.S. Management Consulting practice. After serving clients for five years in information technology consulting, Eric has worked in human resources since 1994 with a focus on performance management, personnel development and leadership training at Accenture. He holds a Masters in Organizational Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Maryland. Eric is a deacon and teacher at The National Presbyterian Church and lives in Washington, DC. Dr. Kathleen Arveson, SecretaryDr. Kathy Arveson is Clinical Coordinator of Regent University's DC Campus School of Counseling and Psychology. Her work at Regent is primarily focused on faculty team development, teaching, and overseeing the internship and practicum programs. In addition to teaching, Kathy has a small private counseling practice. She received her BA and MA at the University of Maryland and her Ph.D. at Loyola College's School of Pastoral Counseling. Kathy serves with the Preparing for Marriage Ministry at The National Presbyterian Church where she and her husband, Paul, are active members. Kathy and Paul live in North Bethesda, Maryland, and have two grown daughters. Melissa SnowMelissa Snow is the Project Coordinator for Shared Hope International, a non-profit organization working to rescue and restore victims of human trafficking around the world. Melissa’s current work includes implementing a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, aligning with ten U.S. Human Trafficking Task Forces, to assess the identification of and access to services for domestic minor sex trafficking victims. Her work also includes anti-trafficking efforts in Japan, Singapore, South Africa, Fiji, India and Jamaica. Melissa received her BA in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Colorado in 2003. Melissa is also an alumna of The National Center for Leadership, Class of 2005. Robyn SoldnerRobyn Soldner is currently Senior Communications Lead for the multi-million dollar E-Gov Travel initiative. She has supported this President’s Management Agenda initiative since 2003 and is a member of the Program’s senior advisory team. She understands the sensitivities and challenges when dealing with senior officials and key decision makers in the Federal Government. She has experience in developing and leading communications and relationship-marketing programs, plus coordinating Congressional and Public Affairs activities. She has 25 years experience in marketing and communications. Robyn is an active member of the National Presbyterian Church and is an elected church Elder. She chaired the Nurture Committee and the Search Committee for the Director of Children's Ministries. Robyn received a BS in Marketing from the University of Illinois and resides in Oakton, Virginia with her husband, John, and two daughters. |
